AGATHA
The name Agatha harbours a deep meaning from an old legend.
In 1487, Geisingen was ravaged by a devastating fire that almost completely destroyed the village. In desperation, the inhabitants took the statue of St Agatha out of the church and placed it on the main street. It is said that the fire then died out and that without the protective presence of St Agatha, the precious 1280 crown would also have been lost.
This moving legend has deeply touched and inspired us. Out of admiration for Agatha's legacy, we decided to name our restaurant after her. Here you can not only enjoy seasonal culinary delights, but also become part of the ongoing story of Agatha.
Come in and let yourself be enchanted by our passion for good food and the telling of old legends. We look forward to welcoming you here!
